Healthy Futures. Together! are here.
In 1955, CPDMH was built as a memorial to the lives lost, and the veterans who served in World War I and II. For close to 70 years, this legacy has been honoured by offering compassionate care and exceptional services, close to home. Today, we have an opportunity to build on the legacy of our forefathers.
Together, we have reached the $5 million+ goal to support the community's financial need for the community's NEW Emergency Department. Because of you and the generosity of your community and dedicated supporters, we have succeeded in hitting the goal set by our provincial government for the necessary equipment and 10% of construction costs for Phase 1 of your hospital's redevelopment. Your hospital, like all Ontario hospitals, rely on the community for support so we can continue to build Healthy Futures. Together!, keeping healthcare close to home and accessible for everyone!
Ongoing Giving Opportunities - your hospital needs you!
Although this phase of your hospital's redevelopment plans has closed, there are many ways you can continue to give to your hospital, ensuring that it will be here when you and your loved ones need it most.
Did you know that it is the responsibility of the community to purchase vital patient care equipment throughout the hospital?
The Ontario government does not provide funding for patient care equipment and relies on the communities its hospitals serve to support the purchase of patient care equipment such as ultrasound and X-ray machines, patient care beds and stretchers, OR lighting, and resuscitation machines...and the list goes on. Over $400,000.00+ in equipment is needed each and every year to ensure that your healthcare teams have the right tools in their hands so they can continue to provide exceptional care to you, your family, and your community when you need it most.
Each gift you make to your local hospital creates an incredible impact on local healthcare. The most popular option is an outright gift or a pledge amount payable over several years. …….
