Our community deserves more than the basics

Why give? Simply, because lives are changed at the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital each and every day.

Whatever changes and challenges our Hospital has faced, donors have been with us every step of the way. However, the need to purchase new and replacement medical equipment is ongoing and vital. It’s why we must continue to ask for your support to meet those needs.

Current and up to date medical equipment are the vital tools our caregivers need to provide compassionate and consistent health care to our community. There are always priority pieces of equipment that our hospital and our patients can’t afford to live without. With your help, they won’t have to!

Governments fund basic hospital operating costs. They do not fund many of the things that can make a positive difference for patients. In fact, they provide no money to buy most hospital equipment. Rapid advances in technology mean there are always new tools that can improve the quality of patient care, decrease demands on staff, and reduce waiting times. The only way CPDMH can keep up with these improvements is with help from donors like you.

That’s why we’re asking for your support to help us continue to meet today’s priorities and tomorrow’s challenges.

Think of all those people your generosity could reach… a senior who needs physiotherapy after joint replacement surgery; a youngster hurt in a car accident or a woman whose husband suddenly experiences chest pains. Imagine what it could mean to you, your family, friends and neighbours.

There are many reasons why giving back to your community’s healthcare is important and there are just as many ways you can show your support. The staff and Board of Directors at the CPDMH Foundation will work with you to match your gift and goals with the identified highest-priority needs of our Hospital.
