Redevelopment
The Foundation's Commitment to the Green Site Redevelopment of CPDMH
Formed in 1994, the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital (CPDMH) Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for CPDMH in support of providing the best healthcare possible to the residents of Carleton Place and the surrounding communities. With that in the mind, the CPDMH Foundation supports the Hospital’s desire to redevelop the current facility and made its commitment to the project during a Board of Directors meeting on May 9, 2012. At that time, the Board passed a motion that stated "The Foundation reaffirms its motion of March 2008 to the Redevelopment of the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital and commits to raising the community’s share of the project, currently estimated to be $18 million, in order to bring new services and better health care to local residents.”
If CPDMH is fortunate enough to receive approval of its business case, the Foundation is prepared to launch a fundraising campaign to cover our community’s share of the redevelopment project to bring the new CPDMH to a reality.
