The Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation is recruiting dedicated Board Directors to help guide our governance, champion fundraising priorities, and ultimately to support our hospital to continue providing exceptional care close to home. We’re seeking leaders with diverse backgrounds who are passionate about strengthening local healthcare with particular expertise in finance, governance & strategic planning, fundraising &/or campaign management, and those with businesses and community leadership. As a member of our Board of Directors, you will play a critical role in the governance and strategic oversight of the Foundation. You will help guide fundraising priorities, ensure financial accountability, uphold transparency, and champion our mission. Foundation Board Directors
must be at least 18 years of age and live or work within the communities
broadly served by the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital. Members of the professional
staff, employees and their spouses, children, parents or siblings (or the
spouse of any child, parent or sibling) are not eligible to serve unless
permitted by a majority vote of the Boards of Directors. The Succession Planning, Recruitment & Nominating Task Force will interview potential candidates and make recommendations to the Foundation Boards of Directors for approval.
