What Do We Do?

The Auxiliary provides a wide variety of services, adjusting our activities to best fit the needs of the patients and staff at CPDMH.

We respond to the needs of patients, visitors and staff. Here are some examples of how we help out: 

Information Desk

Volunteers greet patients and visitors and provide information and directions.

Physiotherapy Department

Volunteers help make patients comfortable, change beds, keep the area tidy and help out with other related duties. 

Emergency Department

Volunteers may act as a liaison between the Emergency Department and patients, keeping them informed of wait times. Volunteers in this area provide an extra set of hands to staff and patients alike in stressful situations.

Administrative Support

Volunteers work in various areas of the hospital as needed.
